The Torque Solution Solid Shifter Linkage U-Joint replaces the OEM linkage u-joint on 5-speed transmission models and has been designed to get rid of the sloppy feeling and excessive play you would notice in your shifter. This is another furether measure to reduce the shifter slop while providing a more precise shifter feel for daily use or track use. 

NOTE: This product will not fit the 98-05 Impreza 2.5RS.  If you have a 98-05 Impreza 2.5RS, you will need TQSTS-SU-473-UP.
